I'm a SciFi nerd and bookworm. I love Harry Potter, Stargate, Legend of Zelda, Star Wars, Star Trek, the Hunger Games, Dan Brown's books, Inheritance (Eragon series), Lord of the Rings.... haha I'm just writing them as they come to me, there's just too many. I'm also really interested in history and culture. I love drawing and crafting, but it seems like I hardly ever have the time :(

In my last entry I kept talking about a Mockinjay pin I had hoped to create. It seems I simply don't have the time for crafting, only for drawing, because I can take my sketchbook basically anywhere and whip it out whenever I get bored.
My AP tests are fast approaching. After I take my final one eleven days from now (yikes!), I'll have so much more free time on my hands. All I will want to do is sketch and paint. I've known about this site for a while because of a friend of mine. However, I never bothered to sign up because I thought it was all fan art (mostly manga/anime). So what led me to creating an account?
I had been talking about Harry Potter memorabilia (and my lack thereof) with a friend earlier today. Therefore, later today when my boyfriend asked me if I wanted to see the Hunger Games next weekend, I thought about how cool it would be to have the Mockingjay pin that Katniss has in the books.
